Stepping Stones Day Care Society (SSDCS) does much more than providing quality childcare services. We have many programs, that all revolve around the goal of the healthy development of children and families.

From providing childcare through our daycare, out of school care, and day home experiences, to providing support for children needing a little extra assistance in the classroom, their parents, and the classroom Educators via Inclusive Childcare Coaches, and Supports to Early Learning and Childcare Mentors. We also have the Respite Childcare Program for families needing a little extra support to get through some trying times.
Services
Originally started as a day care centre, over the years it has grown in the programs and services it provides to our community. Believing that healthy families provide a foundation for a healthy community, the Society is committed to a variety of accessible human service programs that support families in their child-rearing role.
All of the work done by Stepping Stones Day Care Society is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers who sit on the Board of Directors. The Board is a governance board that hires an Executive Director to oversee the day to day operations of the Society. Stepping Stones Day Care Society (SSDCS) has been operating in the City of Grande Prairie since 1975.
