Services
Susanne earned her MSW specializing in clinical practice from the University of Calgary in 2004. She has extensive experience in treating relationship issues, emotional distress, and self-esteem issues. Susanne uses an integrated, client-centered approach to counselling and deeply believes in leveraging her clients' strengths to help them achieve meaningful change.
As a provider of licensed professional counselling services, we utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you overcome your difficulties and experience change. Therapy is individually tailored with your goals in mind; we adapt our approach to best address your unique needs and circumstances.
Our standard fee for counselling is $190 per 60 minute session, which is the rate recommended by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta. Most benefit plans will reimburse a portion if not all of your treatment costs - check with your benefits program administrator to determine your coverage. We ask for payment at the beginning of your appointment and accept cash, cheque, debit and major credit cards.
Aspen Counselling Services offers psychological testing and assessment services for clients looking for expert opinion and differential diagnosis for insurance purposes, disability claims, and family related legal matters, such as child custody concerns. Mental health diagnostic assessments can be useful for a number of purposes, such as determining psychological factors affecting fitness to work.
It's hard to concentrate on healing if you're worried about getting back to work on time. Because our counsellors aren't limited to traditional office hours, we can offer flexible appointment times to accommodate your schedule. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are available. Our 24-hour reception service means you can schedule your appointments and leave messages anytime, at your convenience.
