Set amongst the trees, this is Castle on the Mountain's Premier Vacation Rental. Outside, the cottage has its own exclusive patio area complete with private hot tub, outside seating and fire pit. From the patio area, the covered porch with ski rack leads to the cottage entrance.
Once inside, guests have use of a utility room with a sink and washer dryer and a full gourmet kitchen which comes complete with ice dispensing fridge freezer, dish washer, range and microwave.With two contemporary fold-down sofa beds and seating for up to 6 people, the lounge area also has a cozy gas fireplace, Large flat screen TV, Satellite, Blu-Ray, Free WiFi and stereo.

In addition to those found in the guest accommodation, there are also a number of communal amenities for our guests to enjoy during their stay. The Breakfast Lounge gives guests another great place to relax outside of their accommodation. With books, magazines, games, flat screen satellite TV, telephone with free local calls, great views and easy access to the guest patio there is always plenty to do.
Courses include fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs, and either warm croissants, pancakes or our famous Banana Bread French Toast! Includes coffee and tea. Guests that are staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis will be able to savor our freshly prepared mountain breakfast, which is served at 9:00am in the guest only breakfast lounge.
You can stay for as long as you like. In fact, we give very big discounts for long term rentals and a reminder that for a stay of 1 month or longer it's tax free! Unfortunately, although we are animal lovers ourselves, pets are unable to stay at the Castle. Breakfast is the only meal on our menu but we can recommend a variety of great places to eat locally.

We stayed in the Upper Gate House and it was perfect! The view of the city below, the hot tub and the fresh mountain air made a perfect fall getaway. The house has everything you need and is super cozy on a beautiful property. The hosts Myles and Katrina are very accommodating and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be going back and telling everyone about it!

Could not recommend Castle On The Mountain more enthusiastically. Lovely setting, incredibly convenient to both Silver Star and Vernon, wonderful hosts. I've been coming to Silver Star for years for early XC ski training and this is by far the best situation I've found. Prefer it to staying on the mountain at Silver Star as more peaceful and has spectacular views.

The hosts Myles and Katrina are fantastic. We stayed in the cabin did our own cooking nestled in the wood. We enjoyed the hot tub easy travel to and from Vernon and Kelowna. Fantastic scenery we saw some deer in our travels.Myles brought us fresh baked banana bread on our first morning here. We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning to returning in the winter. Service was 5 star.
