Our clinic is equipped with the newest technology to diagnose, monitor and manage specific eye conditions. All patients have retinal photographs and our doctors will give you a 'tour of your eyes.' We do not use an air puff tonometer to test eye pressures, rather a new small handheld iCare tonometer which is fast and effective as a screening.

Services
Your comprehensive ocular examination visit will begin with meeting our friendly front desk staff beginning with updating your personal information, insurance and completing a health questionnaire for the doctors. The optometric assistant will begin by performing tests which includes visual fields, auto-refraction, retinal photographs and eye pressures including a test that does not require the air puff machine some patience dislike.
We offer contact lenses for single vision, astigmatism and near vision (multifocal lenses). Colored lenses are available as well. Our specialty contacts, Scleral Lenses, are an option for those with high prescriptions, high astigmatism, dry eyes and irregular corneas from keratoconus or scarring. These lenses are extremely comfortable compared to traditional hard lenses.
Low vision is an area of optometry that is important to Dr. Keeling as macular degeneration is prevalent in her family. She has experience in fitting low vision devices such as telescopes and demonstrating illuminated magnifiers to help improve quality of life. Dr. Keeling is a volunteer with CNIB Moncton and their organization can provide many resources for those experiencing visual impairments.
Our team is equipped with the latest technologies to aid in the diagnoses of various ocular diseases with more efficiency. Diagnosing certain diseases like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma at an earlier stage allows for prompt referrals with the goal of maintaining good visual outcomes.
We understand the importance vision plays in child development and learning. Our pediatric eye exams are fun and fast paced to keep interest. Including 3D stereo vision, color vision, ocular muscle movements, visual acuities, checking for a prescription and most importantly overall eye health. The New Brunswick Association of Optometrists recommends all children should have an eye exam by the time they begin school.
