Northside Veterinary Clinic was established in 1977. In 2010, we underwent an exciting venture by merging Northside Veterinary Clinic with Park Pet Hospital. Co-owned by Dr. Carla Schluchter and Dr. Patrick Galloway our clinics operate as two separate facilities located in North Central Lethbridge and West Lethbridge.

We offer a wide range of services including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your pet so they live a longer, healthier, happier life. As alternative therapies have become more popular with pet owners, we have added these modalities to the services we offer.
Alternative therapies, which are also referred to as "integrative" or "complementary" therapies, include acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, laser therapy, magnetic therapy, .Anesthesia and patient monitoring protocols vary among clinics. When selecting a clinic and subsequently a veterinarian, be sure to ask about the types of anesthetics used and their clinic procedures.

We are happy to book an appointment for you. This is not an automatic process. Once we receive your request, we will contact you to confirm a date and time that is as close to your request as possible. If your appointment has not been confirmed within 24 hours, please feel free to contact the practice by phone to confirm.
1. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We do not routinely invoice accounts in order to focus on our clients, our customer services, and minimizing costs. 2. Rest assured we are taking all precautions and putting processes in place to keep you and your pet safe and comfortable.
Enthusiastic, fully-licensed veterinarian required to join our fun and friendly multi-vet practice in sunny Lethbridge. New grads welcome! Veterinarians dedicated to mentoring. This is a full-time permanent position. We are fully-equipped with CO2 laser, video endoscopy, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray and in-house Idexx lab.

This clinic received 2 stars only because their techs were exceptional with my dog on a previous occasion. I’m starting to realize that the this pet clinics is about antiquated trap sales style, they won’t tell you the price until the procedure is being done. My dog needs a allergy shot for seasonal allergies, he gets itchy, I called the clinic told them the name of the medication, how much my dog weighs, and the seriousness of the reactions he deals with.... Northside vet clinic refused to give me a price saying he needed an exam first, I asked for a ballpark and they wouldn’t give it. I

Northside Vet has looked after generations of my dogs and cats, and also the pets of my family members. We have always felt that we could rely on them for not only routine procedures but more important, for emergencies when a cool head under pressure was paramount. I was supported in decisions about care and even better they took the time to educate me about the course of treatment.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The front staff and vets are so kind and they all go above and beyond to help you and let you know that your pets are in good hands. Their communication and advice before bringing your pet in is more that I have ever received from past vets. They aren't in it for the money. They do this because they love and care for your pets and for you!

I am so grateful for the professional and compassionate care given to our dear dog Ace. Ace had to be put to sleep today and I am so thankful for Dr. Carla and her team. Ace was treated with such respect and gentle care. We are fortunate that our other pets are also in your care. Thank you so much for making a difficult time so much easier.

Sent away a pet in pain. My pet had a bleeding, bulging hole in his eye, I called ahead to them, and drove there in anticipation they would see him, as we were regular clients. Arriving at 8am, we called from the parking lot and they turned us down for any help! Being told "Your regular vet will be going sugery and the other vet is booked". I was a previous vet-assistant and asked "How about a drop-off appointment with pain meds for now and a more detailed look later"? However, I was sent away. Blessed another clinic treated him promty and us kindly by 9am this morning. I won't be back.

I have been a customer at Northside Veterinary for almost 20 years. Although their staff has changed over the years, their committment to the care of animals has only gotten stronger and more skilled. They are very caring, very careful to not stress my cats, do not overmedicate yet provide the latest high quality medications as needed. Highly recommend them.

Amazing and caring clinic! We brought our 4 pound chihuahua here for a check up and spay and I couldn’t be happier with the care and professionalism! We are keeping this clinic as our go to clinic. Staff is very knowledgeable, spend the time to explain procedures and vet recommendations and very friendly. Thank you all for the wonderful care you gave to our little Bella!
