Using a K-9 detection team for Bed Bug control has many advantages over traditional methods. Fast accurate inspection, reduced treatment costs, the ability to concentrate control efforts and confirmation that control has been gained. Annie is trained to alert to all living stages of a Bed Bugs life cycle.
Any of the below signs would indicate that you have a Carpenter Ant nest within your dwelling. Black ants following each other in a line or single ants using a regular pattern within your home. When it has been determined that you have a Carpenter Ant nest inside your home, the best solutions is to find the colony and destroy it.
Adult bed bugs are reddish brown, about 5 mm long and oval in shape. A home owner can best identify an infestation by looking for insects in the cracks and crevices of the mattress, the protective corner on the box spring and any other small dark crevice close to the insects food source. Other signs would be unexplained blood stains, fecal material and skin castings of molted insects.
These features will help identify the Pennsylvania wood roach, German cockroach and the Brown banded roach respectively. The process for treating German and Brown banded roaches are very similar with the use of either a baiting or a residual insecticide program. The treatment of Pensilvania wood roaches will also require an exterior treatment.

I live in Ottawa and Ottawa Valley Pest Control is very mobile and prompt. If my bug problem arises in the future I'd call theses guys in minute. I wanted to sleep at night and needed the job done by someone who knew the science, environmental conditions and life cycle of the pests I had.
