Free Spirit Botanicals was founded by Joseph Gonyeau and Wendy Greer, who began making soaps in 1998. As their knowledge of commercial skin care products grew, so did their product line. It seemed silly to use a natural soap, and then apply a petroleum or alcohol based cream on our skin after washing.

Thank you for assisting me with a wonderful gift for my wife. She really enjoyed the package that you helped me put together. The bath salts and bath balms are her favorite. She also enjoyed the lovely face cleaner and lotions that you make. We are all enjoying the difusser with the lavender oil as well as the made just for us liquid hand soap in lavender and rosemary.

Stumbled across their tent at the Farmer's market and fell in love with the products. I have been looking for a natural deodorant and found both the roll-on lavender and the deo-stone. Both work all day with zero fading. The lavender has a great initial smell, and the deo-stone is scent free. (The girl with the great eyebrows also told me the lavender roll-on is refillable for everyone else who is all about waste-free products!)
I also got the clay masks and the cuticle oil, and the lavender bath bomb for my mom! Amazing products! I can't wait to go back!

I've been using free spirit products for over 5 years now and swear by them! As someone who has extremely sensitive skin, these products work and do not give me a rash or irritation like conventional products. Plus they are locally made. The herbal hydration lotion is my go-to product. And their soap Bars are huge! Twice the size of normal bars of soap. Also the bug spray is the best bug spray I've ever used and it actually works, you can trust me because I'm a tree planter. I use gardeners cream for my callused hands and it works wonders on making them soft! Do not hesitate to shop here and buy

So happy I found this place on a trip to Victoria last summer and that I can also order the products online. I especially love the face cream for dry skin. It is so hydrating and does not cause irritation. For the FIRST time EVER I am receiving compliments on my skin and people are asking what products I am using. When I was there the store was busy with cruise ship passengers who made a point of stopping in to replenish their supplies. Although the store was busy service was excellent. Congratulations on making great organic products at reasonable prices!

High quality essential oils and soaps (among other things). The Hi-Alps French Lavender oil is INCREDIBLE. I use this in my diffuser and behind my ears and on my wrists at night to calm me down and help me sleep. The parking situation in this area is dire, so walk to it or take public transit (both of which are easy to do in the DT core of Victoria). I don't live in the Victoria area, so I will order online when I need to restock my bathroom.

I came in here looking for a Christmas gift for my mom and was given a free sample of there locally made olive oil soap for myself. The soap is made with natural ingredients and has a luffa built in. Before getting that free sample I was a simple $1 a bar dove or ivory soap guy. Now I am hooked on this soap.
My girlfriend ends up showering more at my place because of this soap and I have had more then one person say how amazing I smell.
