Ben had one truck and a vision to start a business that no one else in Grande Prairie and area had. Ben was looking for a niche in the oilfield industry. After months of research and establishing contacts, Ben decided that hauling pipe for the pipelining industry was the perfect opportunity. Coming from a trucking background, he understood the amount of hard work and long hours that would be required to be successful in his endeavor.

His first customer was Don Vienneau of Hyland Oilfield and a contract to haul 20 loads of pipe from Edmonton to Buick Creek north of Fort St. John.
