At this time the Provincial Health Order (PHO) does not require pools to show proof of vaccination upon entrance. However, this could change and the Nakusp Hot Springs will follow the requirements of the PHO accordingly as the Village of Nakusp is the owner and operator of the Nakusp Hot Springs. Please note the Village of Nakusp is required to follow Provincial and Regional Health Orders, as mandated under the Public Health Act.
The village of Nakusp is located in the Arrow Lakes valley, and is characterized by incredible beauty, no matter what direction you are coming from. The adventure is in getting here, so be prepared for mountain vistas, deep clear waters, and remarkable forests. Be sure to allow extra time for weather conditions, ferry schedules, and border crossings where applicable.
Our water is some of the cleanest natural spring water around, and does not receive any treatment other than filtration and what is required to ensure there is no risk to the health of our patrons before entering the pools. Our flow rates are some of the highest in North America, with our hot pool completely recycling its water every 30 minutes, and our larger warm pool recycling every 2 hours.

I'm blown away, an absolute must-see!
These hot springs manage to balance a beautiful, picturesque and serene setting with the comfort and amenities of more commercialized setups.
The facility is a simple, well-designed building with nice changerooms, snacks, towel and lock rental with tons of natural light.
The pools themselves consist of one hot and one warm pool. Both offer in-pool bench seating and amazing views. The vibe while visiting is very relaxing compared busier sites like Radium or Fairmont. A couple of hours will go by very quickly before you know it.
Although we went during covid

Quite enjoyed the soak. Have been here many times. Not too crowded, but didn't enjoy the kids who treated it like a pool and were splashing (takes the relaxation away for me). Would love to see those spin dryers for swimsuits in the change rooms and more deli selection. Trails up behind to the old hot springs are neat!

Love Nakusp hot springs. Beautiful little camp ground right by a large creek and even a small creek by the tenting side. Fantastic hot pool and bigger warm pool for relaxing or for the kids since they don't tolerate the heat as much.
My favorite part is the ice cold shower. Lots of research shows that going from hot to cold back to hot and repeating this is incredible for your immune system and cardiovascular health. I fell in love with that process here and it is amazing!
Highly recommended.
