I called for an appointment as a new patient, and was surprised to get an appointment the following week. Right from the initial phone call to receiving my new glasses, I could not have had a better experience. My first pair of glasses were ready in less than 5 minutes. The ladies are so friendly and helpful. Dr Kay was amazing. She has me seeing again. I cant say enough about how great this Optometric Clinic is. If you need an eye exam or new glasses be sure to give them a call. 5+ star rating from me.

My experience at the Waterdown Optometric Clinic was exceptional right from the minute I walked in. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Dr.Gilbert performed my eye exam and helped me pick out a pair of glasses afterwards, she took the time to sit with me and find a pair that suited me. She truly puts her patients first. I could not speak more highly of the clinic and their staff!

Never have I felt safer in an environment where appointments have been safely spaced out. All areas in the office wide open with no worries of any unnecessary contact. Every chair labelled for availability or not. Staff amazing as usual. Met Dr Gilbert for the first time. She's so great! Very passionate with her work and clients... I love that! Any anxiety I had going into my appointment dissipated shortly after entering the door.

I was able to book an appointment easily and within a reasonable time frame. I was greeted by this lovely woman at the door who explained infection control procedures. There was 6 feet distance and lots of cleaning! The staff were friendly and the optometrists were so friendly! Dr. Gilbert is new to the clinic and she is a great addition! She is so kind and attentive, she even helped me pick out my sunglasses when I couldn't decide after the appointment ! I definitely would recommend going here

My husband and I visited the Waterdown Optometric Clinic recently and we were both very pleased with our entire experience from parking to leaving. The cleaning practices are very thorough, all associates are very friendly, and I would like to specifically acknowledge Brittany for her knowledge, patience and support in helping me to find my first pair of frames (that I love!) After my old optometrist retried, I decided to try the Waterdown Optometric Clinic after a recommendation from a friend. Dr. Gilbert was absolutely lovely, personable, and very thorough in her exam. It was very clearly how knowledge she is. She explained what she was doing step-by-step and answered all of my questions. I would not hesitate to go back and see her in the future.
Carolyn helped me to pick out some frames and sunglasses. I felt she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and helped me find frames that really suited my face shape.

Excellent experience at the clinic today! The clinic and staff has done a great job with the “new norm” of the care process. Starting from filling out new patient info ahead of the appointment and phone reception on the day of care to ensuring the proper hygiene and physical distancing mandate.
