After practising Family Law for many years, I have become convinced that virtually every case is capable of resolution out of court with the appropriate support and advice. I also believe that by avoiding court proceedings, my clients are in a better and stronger position to move forward - particularly if they have children - as they haven't been subjected to the emotional, psychological and financial drain that invariably accompanies litigation.

It is not usually possible to accurately estimate costs in advance for a family law case. Many important factors which influence the costs will be initially unknown to me, and outside my control, including the reaction and tactics of the other side, how many different issues there will be in your case, how much time it will take to resolve all the issues, how complicated the case is, and whether new issues may come up.
