At Gourlay's Clinic Pharmacy, Canmore, we provide a variety of pharmacy services in one location for your healthcare needs and convenience. We carry Metagenics and Genestra brand nutritional supplements in store. If we do not stock a product you are looking for, we can place an order for you or you can order Metagenics through our online store.
Services
Vaccinations (immunizations) protect you and your family from disease. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about new vaccines and vaccines that require an additional booster shot to stay effective. We give vaccinations in our private counselling room. Our pharmacists have their Injection Certification with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP).
2020 Flu shots: Please call 403-678-5288 to book an appointment to receive your seasonal flu shot in-store. The flu (also called influenza) spreads easily from one person to another and is a concern everywhere. A vaccine is available each year; talk to your pharmacist or doctor about getting a flu shot.
A pharmacist is available to meet with you privately to talk about your health, how to manage your medical conditions, and how to take your medications. Note: If you have a valid Alberta Health Care card at your appointment, there are no fees for you to pay. If you would like to meet privately with one of our pharmacists, please book an appointment.
We can help you to manage your diabetes and continue to live an active, independent, and healthy lifestyle. Our pharmacist is a certified Diabetes Educator. Download an Action Plan from the Canadian Diabetes Association and begin to manage your diabetes today! Note: If you have a valid Alberta Health Care card at your appointment, there are no fees for you to pay.
Whether you're traveling for pleasure or business, overseas or to a beach resort in Mexico, you want to be aware of and avoid health risks while you're away. We offer a full-service travel clinic in Canmore and are able to prescribe and administer your required vaccinations on-site during your appointment.

I have been a Gourlay's customer for 20+ years and cannot imagine going anywhere else for my pharmaceutical needs. They are extremely professional, knowledgable and attentive. Darren, my Gourlay's pharmacist, is an integral part of my overall medical care program. He takes all the necessary measures to ensure the best possible choices for medication are given. Just very very rude and not helpful at all. I just moved to the area and have a serious medical condition and have been searching for medical supplies. I called to ask if they had any or where I could find some, the man who answered was so incredibly rude to me within a ten second phone call that I needed to post this. Take a breath and chill, we’re not zoo animals, we’re human beings and people.

I never write reviews, but when I saw they only had one adequate review I had to correct it because the deserve much better! I have been using Gourlay's pharmacy for more than 20 years, and they have consistently gone above and beyond what you would expect a pharmacy to do. They remember details of my files, they provide excellent information and suggestions when called for. They are absolute professionals but also really nice folks. If choosing a pharmacy in town, I highly recommend Gourlays.
