We purchased our used Chaparral from Dave in January and did the lake test in April 2021. The organization of all the steps was done very well by all the staff involved. We were informed early of what was going to happen, what we needed to do and what to expect. All worked out very well. We then enjoyed a great summer on the boat.

We bought a boat held on consignment in July 2021. It was our first time buying a boat so we didn't really know what we were doing. Our experience with Len's Cove was not completely terrible, but was definitely below expectations.
First of all, Toby, who took us on our lake test, was excellent and all we could have hoped for and more. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was just an all around really good guy. He taught us more about the boat than we could have figured out on our own.
Other than Toby, our experience with Len's Cove was negative for the following reasons:

Took my outboard motor here to get serviced. I asked that they get it in working condition and they told me that it will be many weeks before I get it back, but couldn't give me any kind of time frame. Fine, as long as I get it back and it runs. I dropped off the motor at the beginning of May 2020 and didn't hear back from them for 2 months. When I called to check on it, they had lost track of it in their shop and couldn't give me an update. They eventually found it and told me it needed a new carburetor at the tune of $700. I made the mistake of going with it and the motor ran for about an hour

Had a great boat buying experience with Sean and his group. We are first time boat buyers and had quite a few questions regarding type of boat, interior selections, horsepower, etc...Sean was excellent in professionally handling all of them and guiding us in the right direction. Lens Cove over promises and under delivers. I would never buy a boat from them again, use them for storage or any of their other services. They are completely lost. If you can deal with another marina do so. I wish I had.
If you do go with them inspect your new boat with a fine tooth comb when you get it. They will give you a new boat that is dirty, tarnished, has scratches on it that were caused by their own staff, parts will be missing, parts will be broken and it may not even run when you get it. Mine did not run when I tried to pick it up this spring.

We recently bought a used boat from Len's Cove and it was a great experience! They walk you through the whole process, and have many helpful videos and tips for purchasing your boat. When we arrived the staff were all very friendly and would go out of their way to help us. My cottage is a 2.5 hour drive from Lens Cove Marina, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They made the used boat buying experience not only easy, but educational; I especially appreciated the on-line advice videos. There is a happy supportive vibe here. When I had a small issue with my new craft, they were available on line and walked be thru it. I love the availability of a “Boat Coach” post purchase, who got my boat started remotely when I couldn’t. All in all, Lens Cove is the ONLY place for all your boating needs!

Excellent and very effective service from both Sean and Dave. They both respond to emails quickly, almost instantly. Purchased a Chaparral towards the end of September which will only get delivered in Spring 2021. October lake test was amazing and very informative! The owner, Sean, clearly knows his business. Just take a quick look at his videos on YouTube. These videos will tell you everything you need to know about boating/purchasing a boat. Lens cove was my childhood in the summer. Every year we would pack in the car and tow the boat up with my grandparents. They started going who knows when And then carried it on to my mother and eventually me. We always stayed in the cabins and docked our boat there. I spent my summers fishing for big northern pike. It made my childhood a magical… and wonderful place. It was always worth the 12hour trip up from the states. Hopefully I can bring my daughter someday soon. We don’t have a boat anymore but I want to share the beautiful memories that we made as a family with her. And all

We met Sean and his team at the Ottawa Boat show and purchased our Chapparal on the spot. We love the boat and can only rave about Sean and his team. We had high water levels this year so we needed to adjust delivery dates and they were very flexible and accommodating. We especially loved the delivery with Sean, very pleasant. Bought a boat there and could not be happier with the service. Dealt with one of the owners, Sean Horsfall, and he was very helpful on the boat delivery. He explained all the features and took us on a sea trial to show us how everything worked and to make sure we were happy with everthing. Very good personalized service.
