Canadian citizens and permanent residents may sponsor their spouse from another country to immigrate to Canada. With sponsorship, the applicant can receive permanent resident status in Canada. The sponsor must sign an agreement with the Canadian Government to financially support their spouse for 3 years after they become a permanent resident of Canada.

Daniel and Veronica were very nice and professional. After completing and submitting all the necessary documents for our spousal sponsorship, it only took us less than 5 months before my visa has been approved. I've just received my PR a few days ago through spouse sponsorship. I found ACAN Immigration's ad in a magazine my first year in Canada as a student in 2010. I kept the ad clipping, and sure enough two years after (end of my diploma course), I found the clipping again among my old things, and decided to give them a call. It was the best decision I ever made.
