Arctic Fence & General Contracting was founded in June of 1971, by our late Founder John Masalkofski. John started with residential wood fences. In 1975 the company had outgrown its residential division. Starting the commercial division. By 1985 Arctic Fence & General Contracting was a premier & reputable company servicing the GTA.
By 2000 Arctic Fence was now providing Concrete, asphalt, custom fabrication, demolition etc. In 2018 Arctic Fence & General Contracting is still family owned and operated. Over 45 years later we still hold the values we were founded on; INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, AND PROFESSIONALISM.

Our primary services are two-fold. We are a retail supplier of fencing materials to sub-contractors in the industrial market and to consumer do-it-yourselfers. Arctic Fence are also installers of fencing. Our team constructs residential fences particularly for condominiums and apartment buildings. We also construct specialty gates for very high-end estate homes.
We work with homeowners and builders in Toronto and the GTA to bring their residential fencing projects to life. We work with you step by step, from planning & design to installation. Our Industrial Division specializes in exterior as well as interior fencing and caging. Our industrial customers include; storage facilities, armored car money pits, manufacturing facilities, Utilities etc. We put security as a top priority.
