I took my car and rv there for oil change and safety. They lost my skid plate of my car and did not check the serpentine belt of the rv. When i called about the skid plate the owner or the guy at the desk laughed at me and told me to buy a new one. Lakefeilds finest in full effect.iwould never recommend these people the man at the desk was very rude and sarcastic.

Very impressed with this shop so far. They seem very honest and the prices are great.

I’m new to the area and of course broke down at the worst time. I called the closest places and was told they could fit me in next week 😳
I called Don and explained the situation. I had to have it towed there and was worried about being stranded. He was able to look at my vehicle within an hour and found the problem. He was professional, polite and efficient!!
I was prepared for it to be a lot of work and an expensive fix. Thankfully he didn’t rip me off.
I left smiling and highly satisfied:)
I would highly recommend this shop and commend Don for being an honest man.

Total Professional Mechanics who service all makes and models of vehicles at fair prices. You certainly can be rest assured that no hidden add on fees suddenly occur on your bill. I will only take my vehicles to Ellis Automotive. Read the reviews and see why. You can’t find this type of service anymore.

Have been dealing with Ellis since we moved here 3 years ago. They take good care of all our car needs. Customer service is good and we are always happy with the work they do.

Wife went here for an oil change and asked if they could l check a noise from her brakes.
They told her that her front brakes needed doing immediately and that the rears also needed doing at a cost of over $1100.
She declined as per my advice, since I just did the rear brakes five months ago.
After checking the brakes myself, it turns out this garbage employee is a liar. .
Fronts pads still had easily a quarter inch before the squealer tab and the rears were still like new.
Save your money and find someone else to do your work.
Word of mouth still goes a long way, I’m surprised this place

My husband and I are from Oshawa and spent the day in Lakefield on Friday 7-10 enjoying the beauty by the river. My car broke down during the night. Jorgenson service hauled my car to Lakefield town to the Ellis auto repair shop. My wife and I rented a hotel room and went to the workshop in the morning. I was admitted immediately and I was assured that the car would be repaired immediately. After three hours, everything was fixed and we continued our journey. Very professional service and decent prices. Thank you Ellis.

Ellis Automotive provides great customer service. They crimped the ends of a couple brake lines needed and also attached the fittings for a very reasonable price. The man that served us always greeted us with a smile, as we needed to go there a couple times, and was very polite and courteous. Even though I paid a bit more than at another garage it was the friendliness and efficiency that impressed me.
