Always a treat to stop here. Breakfast or lunch. Buy their Prepared frozen meals & desserts to impress! Once we got Moroccan chicken skewers & saffron rice that we brought camping! The buffalo chicken Mac & Cheese is a favourite side dish; flavourful without being too rich. Molly's Bistro is a perfect enroute stop to your cottage getaways if you are pressed for time but want to eat well!

Perfect Bistro place out in minden, when you have limited restaurant to select from! They serve hot and delicious food. Vegan paradise was mouth watering! I highly recommend to visit. They also have the frozen takeout food for the trip. Chocolate fudge is worth trying. Will definitely love to visit anytime when I am nearby Haliburton and Algonquin.

Visited Molly's on our way to camping, I ordered the vegan paradise and my boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs. We also got a blueberry handpie to go. The meal was first of all delicious, homemade bread and jam to accompany. It also kept us full during our rigorous 4 hour hike! The handpie was amazing and a great treat in the forest.

A wonderful little bakery that serves all day breakfast fare. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The space is a little space but does what it needs to do. Prepared foods, coffee, and frozen goods can all be taken to go and enjoyed at home. Prices are very good considering the portion sizes. A great experience and great value.

After reading the yelp reviews we decided to stop and grab some late breakfast on our way home.
We weren't disappointed.
The girls each had a crepe meal that came with a slice of bacon and a nice piece of lemon cranberry loaf and a huge orange slice.
Mom and I had the big boy breakfast and it was awesome. Perfectly done. Not greasy in the slightest. The sausage (usual a boring meatube) was super flavourful and something worth trying even if you aren't a huge breakfast sausage fan. Baked beans were perfect.
Dad actually went with the lunch sandwich special which was a Cuban beef

Good diner food with daily specials that are a bit more adventurous for those who like flavours. Had the Korean chicken wrap the other day- yum! Love the corn bread too! Only complaint was the weird homefries last time- they were kinda like under cooked chopped up French fries- can't remember if that was the case in previous visits...

Fantastic. If you want a home cooked breakfast with local quality ingredients, drop by. They make everything in house, down to the jam. You won't be disappointed. The could improve on the home fries, but everything else was so tasty I easily overlooked this.
Update: wish they'd change their home fries!

I had the boring breakfast and it was anything but boring. Great service, great food, and a huge selection. I'd consider myself a breakfast snob and I was pleased with everything down to the homemade jam.
Girlfriend had "a gals gotta eat" and enjoyed. One thing we noticed is the bfast food, as good as it was, was not super greasy. We didn't leave feeling lethargic/disgusting.
I grabbed an apple caramel pie to cook later. Excited to see how that turns out.

I don't know how many options for food (at least, non-chain options) Minden has, but I pulled into town on a motorcycle trip hungry and looked around and settled on Molly's.
It has a slightly Cora's like vibe to it - at least looking at the menu which includes a full Quebec style breakfast (with cretons!) - but isn't really similar to it. The menu's pretty huge but not exhaustive, and I settled on a Monte Cristo sandwich and soup. It was not cheap, but it was delicious.
While I didn't try them, there was a lot of sweets and baked good for dessert too - generally

BOTTOM LINE: Best breakfast spot in town? Probably.
I was told this was the "best breakfast spot in town" from locals I it definitely didn't disappoint. It also offers a good alternative to the greasy spoon options around, though their "BORING BREAKFAST" for $5.99 covers that option as well. A family owned business (what isn't in this neck of the woods?), they bake their own pastries and breads, which are pretty damn delicious.
I ordered their BELGIAN STYLE BUMBLEBERRY WAFFLES, which came with a rich cream over melted berries and spices. I also purchased a loaf
