Services
At Sunshine Mental Health, therapy is viewed as a collaborative process where you play a key role in your treatment. Therapy is not a mysterious treatment that is done to you but rather a journey that is made with you so that you can learn to understand yourself better and become more resilient in the future.
Mental health services are not covered under the medical services plan, but you may be able to obtain reimbursement through your extended health plan. Dr. Kovacs is a registered provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). If you are a victim of a crime, you may be eligible to receive funding for psychology services through the Ministry of Justice.
