I'm a wedding photographer in Orillia, on the south end of beautiful Muskoka. I've rooted my photography in a natural, candid style where my couple's experience is every bit as important as the images. The nerd in me is fascinated by photography - the artist in me just digs it when shit looks cool. While I specialize in weddings and family photos, I also teach photography workshops each year for beginners as well as aspiring wedding photographers. I also enjoy volunteering my time with local sports portraits and head shots for a local women's organization.

I have been following Vaughn's work for years. When we got engaged, we got in touch with Vaughn right away! Vaughn was naturally our photographer of choice and we planned our wedding around his availability. We enjoyed everything about our special day and our photos were a dream come true. Vaughn took our wedding photos and we do not have enough good things to say! Our initial interview was great, Vaughn was so helpful in answering any and all questions we had. It felt like he was working with us (not for us) to make sure our day went as perfectly as it could. On the day of he made sure to get the photos we wanted while still ensuring we were able to enjoy our day. The photos turned out AMAZING - we've already had so many friends ask for his contact so they can hire him for their upcoming weddings. If you need photos for any upcoming event, you can't go wrong with hiring Vaughn!

Vaughn couldn't have captured our big day at the family cottage in Muskoka more beautifully. He scouted the site ahead of time, identified key photos he and the bride thought would pan out best and took time to understand the parts of our site/location that were important to us. When the weather threw us a curveball, he embraced the weather, adapted to the circumstances and went above and beyond to ensure all of our desired moments were not only captured but enhanced by mother nature.
