Avenue Chiropractic Clinic was established in 1985 by Dr. Bortolotto and Dr. Klesko. The practices that were brought together were two of Edmonton's longest standing practices over 55 years. We chose this location in north - central Edmonton because it can serve most regions of Edmonton due to excellent bus and LRT routes that are present.
The level of care is exceptional! Much more thorough and technical than any other chiropractor I have seen in the past. I was impressed and thankful to have Dr. Klesko ask detailed questions, do a thorough analysis and explain everything as he went along. It's my first time going to a Chiropractor, I was scared too before, I'm so happy I made this choice to come to this clinic Dr James Bortolotto, Is Amazing!
Dr. Bortolotto began his journey toward being a Chiropractor through his own experience with pain and injury. He treats sports injuries, work related injuries, headache, chronic pain disorders. He is a certified strength & conditioning specialist as well as a Fellow of the Canadian College of Rehabilitation Specialists.
If you've ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance.
On your first visit to our North Edmonton office, we ask that you come 30 minutes early to fill out important paperwork. We will use this information and systems review to help us understand your current and past health status and issues. Once filled out, you will be asked to gown for your first visit.

They cancelled the appointment of all their patients and left us a message less than 30 minutes before appointment. When i told the receptionist that a client that does the same get charges last minute cancellation fees, the receptionist just answered me with an arrogant voice "thank you" sounding pretty much as "we dont care".
Have to wait 1 week to book appointment for unreliable and poor staff service.

Very disappointed of irresponsible handling of new appointment. I called the previous week got booked on the following week Monday @4:45pm. On the day of my appointment i called when I arrived and was told Dr. Bartolotto had an emergency. I was ask if im ok with other Doctor well i said i dont mind. I’m being ask further said i don’t exist on their system. Later on been told i need to reschedule cause they will soon close and first time client need an hour. Just wasted my time and effort coming there.

Amazing Chiropractor! Very professional and attentive! 100% knows what he is doing, and is good at it!
I was barely able to do anything because of an injury, and after a little less then a month, I was able to start living life again! I sleep better, I work out daily now, have lost weight, and I no longer have chronic pain!
Dr. Bortolotto changed my life, and I am forever grateful!
Also, started taking my teenager to see him for sports injuries, and my teenager says he has never felt better!
100% recommended!

Dr. Bortolotto saved my life. I was living with chronic pain for years and after only two treatments with him I felt so much better. He is truly a miracle worker and you would be very fortunate to get an adjustment from him. I lead a very physical lifestyle, so I just need to see him on occasion for a tune-up when I have pushed things too far with my body.

While I'd like to give 5 stars just for Dr. Bob who is great, I have chosen to no longer go to this clinic because of the waiting times and general lack of care shown about how inconvenient it is to wait anywhere from 30-45 minutes in 3 out of 6 visits.
I sent an email after having to leave without getting adjusted because I had been waiting for 35 minutes and like many people, I have things to do and wasn't sure exactly how much longer I'd be waiting. 3 days later I still have no response. I used to suffer from chronic migraines which would leave me almost bed ridden. It's has bin almost a year since I have been back to Avenue Chiropractic thanks to Dr. Brett. I was very reluctant at first to get my neck cracked but he was very gentle every step of the way. I would recommend Dr. Brett to anyone especially people suffering from migraines!
