I just went in to renew my auto insurance. Oakwest seems nicely settled in their new location in Kerrisdale. The group of agents are all great! They are always pleasant, thorough and informative when dealing with the customers. I don't have a negative thing to say about this company and their people.

Absolutly incompetent staff they said everything was ready to go just get a blank check .. walked to bank .. as castor said all of a sudden now the company wants cash if they would have gotten it together as I asked they would have known .. this should have been know prior to me leaving their desk as I even asked prior if that was all ... absolutely incompetence and a lot of blame shifting.. been a client over 15 years ..also he became belligerent and rude as I wanted to to give his collegues name to their head company for incompetence ...never again will i deal with them priority and service as

Oakwest Insurance is the best place to go for ICBC and home insurance. Their staff is very knowledgeable and will patiently explain everything to you. It is conveniently located at Oakridge with ample parking. They remind you in the mail of renewals and never upsell you. They just listen to your needs and guide you to the best product to meet your needs.

Wendy was the broker I saw to renew my auto insurance and she is great! She noticed a discrepancy on my file which led to me getting a 43% discount as opposed to the 25% I was originally getting. If she hadn't checked up on it, I would never have known and would be overpaying. That is great customer service.
