Having difficulty finding dressier shoes for my size 11 flat feet, I was delighted to find an attractive pair online at Lord's. I ordered online and the shoes arrived in a timely manner and were well-packaged. It has been a positive online experience.

I have always admired the window display in this creative and beautiful, South Granville store. I often browse and have bought a few things over the years.

I have now visited the store twice. Specifically looking for wedding shoes for my daughter.
On the first visit I was very pleased by the selection but found the service a bit wanting. Regardless, I returned with my daughter for the second visit to specifically purchase shoes.

Located on Granville Street, Lord's Shoes sell various brands for formal, comfy and casual shoes. Renovations probably need some work as it still look like its from the 90's. Their prices are not the cheapest, but their shoes are of better quality. They do have a clearance rack by the front of the entrance and sometimes you can score a deal if you are lucky. Lord's is my go to for shoes and clothes. I have coveted many items in the place as the selection is unique. You won't find the same styles all over town. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and focus on building relationships (they call me when items they think I like arrive new in store). Like most things in life if you want quality be prepared to make an investment but rest assured that they will provide you with lifetime service on anything you purchase. Lordy Lordy, Lord's is quite simply the best store in Vancouver. The quality of the shoes, accessories and clothing is only surpassed by the service. Also a winning point for me is the unique clothing selection; two of my favorite designers have pieces from their collections here: Nadya Toto (good Canadian girl!) and Sarah Pacini. Beware of Return Policy - it's terrible.
My wife received some $400 shoes as a gift, but sadly, they were not right for her. When the shoes were returned to Lord's unworn, they refused to take them back for a refund because more than SEVEN DAYS had elapsed since purchase (it had been about 2 weeks). It is commonplace for people to buy gifts a week or two in advance, but the store person was adamant - no refund. Great selection for bridal and special occasion footwear, even in the fall/winter when everyone else is selling boots. Some of the really nice shoes have sizes that go fast so that can be a bit of a disappointment. Prices are moderate to expensive. The salespeople are very helpful and friendly here. Bonnie helped me out as I held up fabric swatches to shoes. She made some good suggestions but I only ended up with one pair since they didn't have my size in one of the other shoes I liked.

Lord's is a bit of a hit or miss store. I've come in here and found some great shoes and once I found an amazing top, which was unfortunately way too expensive for my budget. But other times I've been very disappointed with the clothing and shoes in stock here.

Lord's is quite a large store, long and thin, so there are a lot of shoes to choose from, and if you head down the back of the boutique you'll find a fair bit of clothing on sale as well.

Lord's offers discerning shoppers some very beautiful shoes and an impressive variety of styles. Cute boots and shoes abound, with fun and funky twists to classic styles. Since the impending holidays are firmly upon us, about half of the collection featured glittering rhinestones on my visit. A lot violated my personal definition of taste. But hey, I'm just not a gal who goes for glitter.
