Vehicle maintenance does not have to be daunting. There are many simple steps that you can take to protect your vehicle from more costly repairs. By regularly following these simple suggestions you can save yourself lots of money in long-term maintenance costs. For winter driving, it may be recommended to change your tires to winter/snow tires for better traction.
The alternator is an essential piece in your car. It powers the vehicle's electrical system, from the on-board computer to the seat warmers to the radio. It also keeps the battery charged. A conventional alternator is driven by a serpentine (drive) belt that turns faster than the engine. It makes millions of revolutions and can wear out with time.
Without the battery your vehicle cannot be started. In addition to the starter motor, the spark plugs, glow plugs, lights and electronic applications all require electrical energy. Contrary to popular belief, battery maintenance is part of your vehicle's routine maintenance program, in order to maximize the battery's average lifespan (usually about five years).

I had a check engine light come on and they were able to diagnose and repair it for much less than I was originally quoted. This was news that I greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately I had to take it back 2 days later as it was running rough. Turns out during the repair process some debris inside the plenum was loosened that ended up getting into a cylinder causing a valve to bend. A lot of shops in this situation would wash their hands of the problem and say they did nothing wrong and charge you to fix it. John and his team stepped up and looked after the problem with no additional cost to me and

They are a little on the expensive side but you get the high quality you expect in a mechanic. I've been to lots of mechanics and had a variety of experiences and this is one of my favorites. They keep in touch with you about the progress of your vehicle and let you know if they notice anything. Been transparent about everything they have done.
Also helped my with a warranty on my transmission they just did.

We recently had some work diagnosed and completed at this shop. The vehicle inspection was accurate and they fixed the issue the vehicle was brought in for.
The vehicle had to be brought back in after realizing an adjustment needed to be made and both my wife and I were impressed with how well the shop manger helped us through the process. We are happy to support a local business and would bring our vehicle back for future servicing.

We have used this shop numerous times over the past 20 years but was beyond impressed today. We have an EV and they took the electrical system repair on to what would have been much more painful experience at the dealership. Work was excellent and very fair billing. They also completed a recent Nissan service bulletin at the same time. Honest, trustworthy and couldn’t be happier with the work performed. They had me in and out same day and the car is now charging again.
