Alexander Lloyd Irwin started the business in Weyburn, Saskatchewan in 1938, then moved Sandy's Auto Parts to Victoria in 1945. His son Barrie joined the business and continued to run it until 2009. The family business is now operated by the 3rd and 4th generations: Wayne and Robert-A-L's grandson and great-grandson-now proudly carry on the family tradition.

Parts are over priced. they tried to sell me worn out tires for the price of really good used ones which I declined. I later Paid 1/3 of their price elsewhere and got good tires. I called for a distributor for my truck and they wanted $70 for a well used one that could fail any time soon, other Wreckers sell same one for $40. Bought a brand new high performance distributor with 3yr warranty at Canadian Tire for $94. These guys are hurting for sales so they try to milk you for every penny.

We bought a door for our van here and the service was fabulous. Husband loves this place!
