We used to use Chohan on a regular basis to carry lumber loads but after a rollover in Jan 2021 we have been waiting more than 9 months for resolution of our freight claim... no dispute, just a failure to pay for the loss and they kept the lumber too. Very disappointed and I recommend staying away from this company

We have been using Chohan Carriers at Tamlin for about 5 or 6 years now. They helped us out of a situation when our old preferred carrier was not able to provide trucks needed at the last minute. They quickly became one of our preferred carriers and handle all our freight to the US and the majority of our cross Canada freight. Our clients have nothing but good things to say about their drivers and this professionalism comes from the top down. By far one the best freight companies I have worked with.

I joined Chohan because they offer me the 12000+ miles a month, gave me the nicest truck and set of B Trains. They have been nothing but good to me, benefits are awesome, dispatch gets me turned around quick. Trucking isn't hard if you do your job right.

Their equipment is top shelf, benefits are great. I love my job here. I have worked at other places and everyone else is so far behind in technology, driver rewards programs etc. Direct deposit on time, and just solid bunch of good people at Chohan.

Good pay, new trucks. The only good things to working here.
Only milage is paid. Labour unpaid. Cheapest paid tarping around. Substandard equipment and supplies. Safety concerns RARELY addressed if at all...
Senior Office personnel lack employee interaction skills...save it the sugar coated, get you out the door, words.
OTR parts and repairs are hard to acquire, usually resulting in paying out of pocket then battling for reimbursement.
Numerous times drivers have had to deal with dissatisfied customers beginning with the office.
NO in-house training provided.
Not a good place to work.
