Nominated as Best New Course in Canada when it opened, Oak Bay remains a delight to play, as well as being a visual feast for the eyes and senses. SCOREGolf called it "a fun golf course with enough teeth to present a good challenge, " when reviewing Oak Bay soon after it opened. That's still the case today-but Oak Bay has evolved with the passing years and is now better than ever.
My name is Jason Bennett and I'm the Director of Golf here at Oak Bay Golf Club. I'm really pleased that you're considering our course for your golf tournament, so let me tell you a bit about what we can offer. The course is located on the shores of Georgian Bay, just minutes off Highway 400 at Port Severn.
Just a 90 minute drive from Toronto, but a world away from everyday. Enjoy living in a gorgeous home at Oak Bay Golf & Marina Community, surrounded by your very own golf course, and steps to a private marina, tennis, hiking and ski trails, swimming pools and social clubs all on the shores of Georgian Bay in Port Severn.
Oak Bay Golf Club is closer than you think - just 90 minutes from the City of Toronto, 30 minutes North of Barrie (Hwy 400, Exit 156 - 1 km West on Honey Harbour Road). Appropriate golf attire includes collared golf shirts, turtlenecks, or mock-neck shirts and golf slacks or golf shorts for men. Sleeveless shirts for women require a collar, no collar on shirts with sleeves, shorts, skorts, capri pants and slacks.
Our restaurant is part of Oak Bay Golf Club and we are located 30 minutes north of Barrie, minutes from HWY 400 in beautiful Port Severn. We are looking for flexible, experienced Full-Time/Part-Time Servers, Dishwashers, Cooks who are dedicated and can work Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays. This is a seasonal position.

Had a blast there today, very nice course. Pictures on their website and Google don't do it justice. Course was in good condition considering all the rain we've gotten over the past week. Staff was super friendly.
Although I never got any food so I can't comment on that, beer tasted good. We got paired with a member and he was super nice and had some interesting stories.
Only gripe I have is that it seemed like a significant amount of the bunkers all over the course were "ground under repair." Price was high enough to expect better in that regard.

Great dining experience! Beautiful view over the golf course, lovely greeting (they took time to say congratulations, after I had written in the reservation notes it was our honeymoon), and our server, who was new, was just wonderful. The food was excellent - shrimp pasta, steak, and arancini to start -everything was amazing, and so many great options to choose from. Highly recommend!

While the course is well groomed and facilities are nice the course is filled with blind shots. From many tees you cannot see the fairway because of tall reeds. Personally I like to see where I need to hit the ball and while there is a GPS with fly over it's not the same. Even the 8th hole, a par 3, you cannot see the green because of the reeds.

We brought our family on Aug 25 we had a great experience. Tyler was our server and the specials were amazing. he was great , He Made everyone laugh. That’s the key 👍🏼 I worked in the industry thirty years, we had the best service in a long time. he let us know the chefs were from Italy, it was like we were eating a direct line From Italy lol no kidding. We usually go to Italy every year. I would recommend this restaurant with 5 ⭐️ . some of the best food we ever eaten from a five 5 star restaurant , pizza is incredible. Thank you so much for that experience , nothing wrong at all,

This is without question one of the most beautiful golf courses I’ve ever played on. It is my all time favourite.
It’s beautifully maintained and incredibly scenic.
Yes it’s challenging, but also fair (you might need more than one golf ball :-)
The clubhouse is absolutely gorgeous and the service is top notch everywhere.
I highly recommend this golf course.

My friends used to be a regulars here and as there is limited options to eat in this area, we decided to come here on a Saturday night during the summer.
They raved about how good the restaurant is and being at a Golf course I had good expectations as well.
This restaurant does have a lovely view... it's just too sad that the food value was not there for the price of an entree averaging $20 and up for the tiniest of portions.
Also expect to have a reservation even when the restaurant is half empty...

Second best I've played. Unbelievable course in great condition. Needs more staff. One mgr is doing everything, he needs help. New clubhouse is beautiful but staff were extremely cold. First time there from Orillia and it was like - who cares. We welcome out of towners at our club. Overall course and clubhouse outstanding, people were weak.
