This category is for applicants who have a close relative who is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. Applicants under this category do not have to meet the point system or discretionary selection criteria used in the other application categories. Instead, they are sponsored by a relative who will provide assistance in the Applicant's ability to establish themselves in Canada.

Employers can hire temporary workers through the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) or the International Mobility Program (IMP). If you choose TFWP, you have to apply a LMIA in most of the case. A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that a Canadian employer need to get before hiring a foreign worker.
At federal level, there is Start-up Visa program, and at provincial level, there are policies to attract foreign investors to invest and stay in their territory to add fuel to the economy and create new job opportunities. There is only one passive investment available facilitating investor to become PR in Canada, it is called "Quebec Investor Program".

I recommend their service from my personal experience. my DIY work permit was rejected and stuck, I though it is a straight forward one which turned out a simple NO. I talked to a few immigration lawyers until I found NLAi. Norm is terrific, fast in response and action, very polite and patient, never walk you around the subject.
