I am the owner of Heartwood Tree Service, servicing Southern Vancouver Island. I have operated tree services and have worked in the forest industry for over 25 years in the area. I was one of the first tree fallers to be officially certified. I am truly passionate and knowledgeable about our BC forests, and bring that knowledge to all residential and commercial clients.
I received my fallers supervisors certification in 2009 and have worked as a bull bucker (faller supervisor) on many occasions. I have my Danger and Wildlife Tree assessors certificate and have had a Level 3 first aid ticket for many years. My tree service has full liability insurance and WBC coverage.

Craig and his team attended our property today and I cannot compliment their work enough. The guys were punctual, professional and had some great input on the work we wanted done. They went above and beyond what I ever could have expected for their price. I will definitely be recommending them to people I know and will have them return to our property next year for more trimming. How those guys Climb those 80 foot trees is astounding to watch!! If your in the Cowichan Valley and are in need of tree services I highly recommend this company!!
