The campground is lovely with great views over the water. The tenting sites are very private and the bathrooms are large and very clean.

Great campground! Beautiful sites!
The only downfall, you have to pay for showers and we were not aware. We only had one toonie. Only one of us could shower. Since the shower is three minutes per toonie, the bald guy won.

Campground was nice. Had an area that you could walk out and sit by the water with several places to sit or build a fire. Wifi is pretty much non existent and laundry had only 1 washer and dryer. My biggest complaint was that the pull thru sites in the B section (which we had) were crammed together with no room. We actually had to ask our neighbor to move their picnic table so we could hook up our trailer. We were parked near the end of the row and could not pull out due to the 5th wheel next to us. Not enough room to make the turn. We had to back out then only were able to make the turn out because

Absolute huge rip off! We paid around 70 bucks. If you're planning on staying here for a long while, I wouldn't recommend it! The campgrounds are too crowded and close to other campsites. There is no breathing room. I personally prefer more seclusion when it comes to a campsite. I cannot stand being in close proximity to other campsites! Provincial parks cost less money and you get a bigger campsite with more seclusion!

First time at this campground and we were very pleased. We tented at H1 tent site. It was very secluded with a nice view through the trees to enjoy while sitting at our campfire. The community firepit and benches looking over the ocean was stunning with beautiful sunsets. Volleyball net overlooking the ocean and kayak, canoe, paddleboat rentals. A very friendly campground. The showers and washrooms were very clean. We loved our weekend so much we already booked our next trip in two weeks. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a nice relaxing time. Who knew that this was right in our back yard. The view was beautiful and the sites very clean. We didn’t rent any boats this time but maybe next time. We look to support local and will be back again. Might see us again this year.
Thanks Juanita, Dave and Floyd.

I never write reviews! But, given the quality of the campground, its location and Dave and Valerie as exceptional and attentive owners, I thought it was necessary to share what I consider a best-kept secret!
My husband and I were first time travel trailer owners this summer and after MUCH research on campgrounds for a location to suit us East of Halifax, this was the one that was a great fit.
Location, location, location... the property immediately fronts the warmest of salt water in Nova Scotia, easily accessible and peaceful and/or fun. Great! And what incredible sunsets! And there are other

My family and I stayed here from July 5-7th. The campground is beautiful. Some of the spots offer a stunning vista of the setting sun. Being right next to the ocean is also an added bonus. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Hyclass is a gem of a campground and we will stay again.
