At Community Care Cottages, we understand that family is important. Living and receiving care in a small family setting often helps seniors not feel so lonely on a daily basis. Our location in Edmonton has been providing long-term care for our elderly clients for many years now. Customers living in our accommodations are located in traditional houses in residential neighborhoods. They are cared for by professional staff and each patient has their unique medical needs supported.
At Community Care Cottages our amenities are beautiful. We are discreetly located in residential neighborhoods. Our elegant and comfortable homes are perfect for families who want to avoid placing a parent into an institutionalized hospital setting and for those elders who want to their care needs to be looked after with individualized attention.
Some of our elders require minimal assistance with daily activities and others require much more. We are staffed with on call Geriatric Physicians and Health Care Aides 247 and LPN / Registered Nurse (when required). We have all the equipment necessary to deal with both simple personal and complex health needs.

There are Some very unexperienced staff that have no knowledge of the elderly a few of them are full-blown drug attics!! One of the employees steels elderly’s medication and takes it herself! it’s very sad but unfortunately there is a dire need for healthcare workers and they’re willing to hire anybody so if you’re looking to put your loved ones here in hopes of proper health aide/care I would suggest to stay far away a few moved from Northbay Ontario because they are banned from every single nursing facility and home to home health care workers here for doing the same thing

Both my parents are in care in Community Care Cottages in Edmonton. Willow Cottage saved my father from an unnecessary hospital stay, after waiting 5 weeks, when no beds were available in a public facility. He has been in the Cottage for a year and we couldn’t be more pleased with the care and attention he has received.
3 weeks ago my mother was reunited with my father after a year of separation and a terrible experience in a public facility that left her with broken ribs,a fractured pelvis, horrible sores, and extreme distress. She is now safely and lovingly cared for along side my father
