Our Wallaceburg hospital has been part of your community since the late 70s and has been a small animal facility since 1987. With unlimited consults, routine vaccinations and early detection screening, our Premium Pet Care Plans offer preventative care with a predictable low monthly payment. As our client we are fortunate to be close to two after hour emergency hospitals in London and Windsor.
Our Chatham-Kent hospital is the hub of our family of caring veterinarians and is the location of our emergency after hours service for established clients. As an important client of the Chatham South Animal Hospital we hope that you have valued the high level of service and patient care at our hospital. As you may have noticed over the past three years, we have been able to provide a part-time veterinarian for this location. This hospital is very well equipped with services such as diagnostic ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography and therapeutic laser.
As a general rule we recommend having your pet spayed/neutered at approximately 6 months of age. This recommendation can vary for our canine companions depending on their size and breed. With large or giant breed dogs the veterinarian may suggest that we wait until the pet is older and has had more time for growth and development.

My dog LOVES his visits to the vet. Everyone is always so friendly and knowledgeable. I've never felt uncomfortable about leaving my dog in their care for a short period. Only reason it's not a 5 star is due to the emergency services being cancelled. It was the main reason I chose this location and unfortunately there aren't any others locally offering the service.

I just can’t expres how thankful I am to have found such a great caring environment for me to bring my bassets to. The staff is always happy when they answer the phone and take the time to chat. The after hours service is wonderful as well. We were just there 2 days ago for an emergency c-section, and Dr Vallee and the staff made the otherwise stressful night so calming. Can’t thank you all enough!!

I cannot express how wonderful the staff have been with our family, Dr Landry and Dr Vallee have shown compassion with knowledge. Through having to say goodbye to two of our elderly dogs Chic and Walter, they… were so good with us and very compassionate. Through the exciting time of a new pup they have been great with Loki. At this time our little Hazel has been testing us on her medical condition. A big thank you to the staff at the Blenheim and Chatham locations. The past two months have been difficult for our family as we first lost Luna in mid December and then Savannah just yesterday. They helped us with the difficult journeys of helping both of our dogs cross the Rainbow Bridge. The staff were understanding, compassionate and so… respectful of our feelings. Our other two dogs, Thea and Peanut, are and will be in good hands for any care needed in the future.

Words cannot express how grateful We are for the care that our little Ollie received for the past six years. Shortly after rescuing him, we discovered, through routine wellness testing, that his liver was not functioning properly. Dr. Trevor was always so caring and compassionate. He answered my numerous questions thoroughly and talked me off the… ledge a few times. When he retired, we inherited Dr. Caitlin. In collaboration with Ollie’s specialist at Cornell, Dr. Caitlin monitored Ollie and managed his symptoms as they arose. She also attended to all of his routine wellness needs
