Shari's Skin & Body Esthetics was founded by Shari in 1984. Her entry into a woman-owned business was personally motivated; she had a traumatic experience with acne. That motivated her into learning more about skin and skincare and gave her the desire to help others who are struggling.
She is committed to providing each client with specialized skin and body treatments based on their individual needs and thoroughly tests every new product on herself before offering them to her clientele.Born in East Africa, Shari moved to Calgary when she was 13. She graduated from Cosmetology School in Canada in 1981.

Shari is very knowledgable and so sweet! She truly cares about her clients and helping them achieve the results wanted. I will forever recommend Shari and the Genesis Laser + BHA Peel to anyone who has struggled with acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, etc.
The last couple years I'd been doing [glycolic] chemical peels monthly and micro-needling annually, and though I did see results from these treatments my skin always seemed to revert back to having the same issues after awhile. The Genesis Laser + BHA Peel has done wonders for my skin and I can honestly say the results are much more permanent

I’ve tried a few different places for laser hair removal with varying results until I found Shari. She is welcoming, gentle, caring, and most importantly gets me results. Other places have damaged my skin or takes a long time to heal but with Shari it’s just slight redness that is gone sometimes within the day. I’m really glad I found Shari and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for good results, value, and a safe environment.

This was my first ever face treatment and I’m thrilled at the results. I always hesitated worried about pain and scarring but after meeting Shari, going through her assessment which was done so professionally in a completely sanitized environment I knew I was in good hands. Her modern equipment and years and years of experience boosted my confidence. It was intense but much needed. Ten days later my face feels clean, silkier, clear of spots and damage caused over years of makeovers and it’s noticeably glowing. I had instructions of what products to use with a care package to go!! Im so glad

I have been seeing Shari for over 16 years. I have had laser hair removal, facials, waxing, threading, and microblading on my eye brows. Shari is extremely professional and gentle. I love this place. I've never even written a review before but I feel like I need to because it is so great. I always always go here for eyebrow threading and have gone for full leg and brazillian waxing. The brazillian is quick and painless (I mean, as painless as they can be). Their customer service is amazing, and if you just want your eyebrows threaded, she will almost always take you as a walk in. Go here!

This is a really good place, if you need to get some waxing done.
Shari is really friendly but still professional, works at a good speed and is thorough at the same time. I got my full legs done, a friend of mine got a brazilian waxing and we were both very happy with her work.
It is okay pricewise (but rather on the expensive side) because she does do a good job.
I can totally recommend this place!

Shari's is awesome, Shari makes you feel so comfortable no matter what you are getting done and I have to say the process is about as pain free as a waxing gets. She doesn't push products on you just makes a suggestion and leaves it at that which I appreciate having been to some places who never stop trying to sell from the minute you get in the door. It's a small place but I actually like that it's cosy. All in all I won't be going anywhere else for my waxing needs in the very near future. Thanks Shari for my lovely smooth hair free legs :)
