Cobalt Art Gallery
Housed in the historic "Chubb Building, " built in 1878, Cobalt Art Gallery offers a broad range of paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture from prominent Canadian and International artists. Our collection holdings feature a special emphasis on the art of the Atlantic Region, as well as Inuit sculpture and Persian rugs.

Providing an extensive selection of fine and decorative artworks in diverse mediums, in a addition to a comprehensive survey of local artists, we invite you to peruse our collections online, by artist, or in person during our hours of operation (Monday-Saturday), or by scheduling an appointment.
Services
Our collections pages feature art by various artists, but maintain a particular theme. For those who seek a certain "something" for their wall, and have no artist in mind, these albums may be of some service. Our collections include pottery, Persian rugs, glassworks, collectables and more! We have curated collections of Canadian landscapes, Inuit art, home design and more.

A major player in representing the best of preeminent Canadian artists. A strong Inuit carving collection, antiques, and a staggering array of persona carpets.

We love this gallery! It's an excellent spot, with delightful and helpful people. Working at another gallery, in Fredericton, we often find ourselves with questions about specific New Brunswick artists, and they are most knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks guys!

Paid a visit and frankly this may make a run for the best in town. Got the grand tour, not only the art is impressive but the history of the building and its hidden treasures. This a place SJ can be proud of. Bravo Darren!!!!
