SGDI is an experienced and award-winning design firm which offers complete design or interior design of custom homes and home renovations throughout the greater Vancouver area. You will receive a perfectly executed home design package, completed to construction readiness, to ensure that your design can be accomplished regardless of whom you choose to build it.
Your designer is responsible for the planning of your home - ensuring that it will function well for the intended purpose, so the decision is a very important one and should be considered carefully. A great set of plans requires a designer with the high level of qualifications required to create those plans.

We bought an old house several years ago with the idea of turning it into our dream home. The views were amazing and we loved the neighbourhood. We realized early on that our initial thoughts of a fairly straightforward reno would not do the house or the property justice and we committed ourselves mentally to a substantial re-build.
I was impressed not only by Sarah's design ability, but also with her level of construction knowledge. I have heard that a lot of designers are good at making things pretty, but are not that great at understanding how things are actually built- Sarah is fantastic at both. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know without hesitation.

Three years ago we decided to pursue building the perfect house for our family. After a long search we settled on a beautiful property on which to build our forever home. The existing house on this property did not suit our needs and so we decided that the best route to take would be to build a new house to realize exactly what we wanted for our family.

Sarah Gallop and her team were recommended by friends. We reviewed Sarah’s website and felt her team was the right fit for us. This was reinforced when we reached out to them. Sarah and her team were amazing! We hired them at the outset of a significant home renovation which was completed in 2017; and they were able to guide us through right to completion in such an organized fashion.
They took a dated old home and made it a modernized marvel. I never imagined that the style I wanted could be achieved in this house. Everything about our new space is fantastic, so thought out and perfect for us.
The contractor we ended up hiring, Sarah actually knew, so we had great confidence in the construction of the project. Sarah was able to advise on how we could phase the renovation

Working with Sarah Gallop and her design team at SGDI was professional and stress-free from beginning to the end. Our renovation was a design and build of our whole main floor including the master suite. Sarah and her team, working with Jim Smith of Smithwood Builders, were a terrific team to work with and we are more than pleased with both the process and the result.

Sarah and her team helped create our dream home by the ocean basically down to the studs. All aspects and details were carefully covered by their planning and documentation. This made the process very easy especially since both of us were busy with full time work. The variety of selections and styles were carefully chosen so as not to have too many decisions to bog us down. In the end all the choices and styles from paints to furniture, carpets and chairs and lighting all came together to complete the look of our house. Many thanks to the SGDI team!
