Our modern bowling centre has kid friendly bumper bowling lanes and small shoes for kids. And because we are a 5 pin bowling centre, our bowling balls are all small and light-weight!

Cosmic Bowling Report

Every day before 9pm we keep the volume low for for families, schools and daycare groups. We also keep the music family appropriate. We can put up the bumpers to keep kids bowling balls on the lane and help their chances of hitting the pins! After 9pm, we turn the music up and the lights down even lower for a great nightclub atmosphere!

Leagues Report

Are you looking for somewhere to head for "Guys Night" or "Girls Night" during the cooler months? Do you have a ball team or golf group you want to keep getting together during the fall and winter? Check out some of our leagues! We have leagues for everyone and every skill level. At Academy Lanes we have fun mixed leagues leagues on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.

I loved the experience of cosmic bowling, tye the alcohol is cheap and when you're there you're in for a good time. bowling is 8$ something a game, that's pretty good.

We had a great time bowling with the kids here. The staff here were so accommodating the snack platter was delish AND when we asked to extend the game for 30 mins they let the kids bowl for free during the extra time.

Going here is always a lot of fun! Lots of lanes available, but they feel a little cramped. Ventilation isn't the greatest, cloud of smoke from the friers resulted in the fire alarm going off. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, especially when booking a lane over the phone. Food is pretty good too, lots of variety if you want a full meal or just a light snack.

Great service, great food and priced well. I live in West Kildonan and gladly drive the distance to bowl here. Always seems to have a lane available no matter how busy the place is. Been going for years and I see no reason to change!

Academy Lanes has always delivered with phenomenal customer service!! Delicious menu!!! Great music!! Clean facility!! Fun atmosphere!! My first visit was over 12 years ago with a work group ...that group still attends every week faithfully, due to the warm Welcome of the smiling staff, food and pins that need to be dropped Academy Lanes was… such a pleasant experience...that the place has become a staple to my family outings! The staff are great! Always willing to accommodate any group and any special needs. Great food and inexpensive. The newly renovated upstairs lanes makes the old building seem rather new and adds an adult feel when glow bowling. The building has heritage and it's great to see how the management has kept that in mind with their business. Simply put, Academy Lanes is THE BEST when it comes to bowling!

The staff are the always friendly, the lanes are in great shape, the food and beverage service is convenient no matter where your lane is -- and it's inexpensive. The entire mood is so welcoming and fun. My kids are always asking to go back.
