A beautiful golden gate located next to the Buckingham Palace. They form a grand entrance to the Green Park. Most of the time, the gate is closed and only opens on certain event.
Why the name of Canada? It was contribution from Canada to the British empire as part of memorial to Queen Victoria.

Really nice golden gate between Green park and Buckingham Palace. It's closed during the changing of the guards but you can walk around it.

Another fantastic location to the right of Buckingham Palace. Its well worth a close up look to admire it. Whilst it tends to be busy most of the year, try to visit anything around this area on a weekday or off peak hours to reduce the crowd levels.

Beautiful to see! Definitely a touristy area but it worth pushing through the crowd to get a view of this beautiful gate! A short walk into the gardens and you’ll find yourself a more quiet area! 10/10 recommend - especially in November (the crowd is much smaller)

If you're Canadian and visiting Buckingham Palace do not miss the gates. The gates were a gift from Canada, celebrating its contribution to the then British Empire. The metalwork includes the crests of Canadian provinces. A little slice of home in London.

We (a friend of mine & myself) had truly bad experience with the team of Canada gate. The information we were getting from them that we use to build our two applications upon were completely inaccurate. That has caused us not to proceed with the application for 2 times, and yet we lost great amount of time because of that.
