At Russell Alexander Family Lawyers, we are committed to practicing exclusively in the area of family law. I was so happy to see Amanda had joined the team here are Russell’s firm. I dealt directly with Amanda many times when she worked as a clerk at the court house in the family department. Not only was she the most helpful of all the staff (I would literally let people go ahead of me to wait to get her) she was beyond compassionate and gave me so much needed confidence in a system that at times feels impossible to navigate. Do not engage in the collaborative process of family litigation if your partner is not motivated or is a bully. This method is very costly with this law firm with minimal results and their fee structure is unbelievable. Read the reviews and do your homework to save you from emotional and financial distress. Contrary to what this law firm may… tell you, you do NOT have to engage in the collaborative process. You can obtain a non-collaboratively trained family litigator who will be able to take your matter to family court to enforce compliance in a timely manner. Do not be persuaded by this

Brittany is easy to talk to, hardworking and compassionate. She really cares about helping people and is mindful of costs. I wish I had someone like her to represent me during my separation. It would have saved me a lot of aggravation and headaches. The lawyer I chose during my separation pressured me to go to court, kept me in the dark, and treated me like their emoloyee. Choosing the right lawyer during a marital issue is really important. If you are looking for a lawyer to represent your best interests I definitely recommend going with Brittany. She will take care of you.

Susanna Crichlow was the lawyer for my case. She was extremely attentive to the details and knew the information inside/out. Never again. It was obvious from the start that their bread and butter comes from e mails and phone calls. I dealt with Nafisa. The number of unnecessary emails was ridiculous. I received one with some minor question (and billed). I hadn't responded by the next morning. I got a call from an assistant, just wanting to know if I got the email from the day before, (another charge). It took a complaint from me to not be charged for this. That's just an example, several others. A huge waste of money for a very simple separation agreement.
