Sue is a Landscape Architect qualified in the UK. She spent 20 years in Hong Kong designing and building many award-winning parks and recreation and tourism projects. She has been working as a full-service landscape contractor and garden designer since moving to Canada in 1999. Now living on Gabriola Island, her creativity is inspired by the area's scenery and vibrant arts scene.
When not designing stunning gardens for her clients, she is a passionate gardener and spends much of her spare time with her hands in the soil. Other activities include horse-riding, hiking, kayaking and stone sculpture.

It is two years since Sue Baran designed our elegant Nanaimo front garden and we are so enjoying it. Sue's design and ideas and knowledge of local conditions were invaluable.
