All salon services are A LA CARTE; items are priced separately. Customer selects individual services for purchase rather than being required to purchase predefined packages. Select desired services in various categories and total up for a estimated total. Prices are subject to change and can vary. A free consultation is optional but recommended for most accurate pricing.

I have never had a bad experience at Headline! Natalie and her staff are very professional, are very attentive to your needs, are highly skilled and the ambiance of the salon goes unmatched! There is always such a good vibe in the salon and it has that luxurious feel. I wouldn't trust anyone else with mine or my kids' hair! Highly recommend.

I just discovered Headline Hair Salon recently, apparently this location is new and just opened during COVID. The ambiance is amazing! Feels very luxurious. The staff is incredibly friendly and offered refreshments before and during my appointment. Jackie and Adrienne both serviced me and did a wonderful job on my hair! I highly recommend Headline.

I visit Headline Salon once a month. I have been a client off and on for about three years and I love my stylist Natalie. I am always given compliments. All the girls are really nice and helpful. I would book ahead for appointment especially if you want to be seen on Friday and Saturday because it can be busy at times. The pricing is fair, but it is "a la carte" which I like. I am never disappointed or have to "redo" my style after I leave. Natalie is too detailed for that. Thank you. See you next time.

I really needed to get my hair done. I am new at the natural hair thing. I called the salon not sure of what I wanted/needed. Natalie was professional and knowledgeable. She provided me with different options and a quick afternoon appointment. My hair turned out nicely. She also gave me the best shampoo. Thank you Natalie see you soon.

I went in Tuesday 12/6/16 for box braids and asked for Natalie because she had done a wonderful job on my braids before. When I arrived I had Ami. I showed her a picture and video of how Natalie did my hair and asked for as close to that as possible. Ami told me this service would cost 240. I asked her how when Natalie charged me 190 about two months ago for this exact style and I offered to show her my receipt (just so happens it was in my hair bag because I brought extra hair my previous visit). A Girl canceled on me at the last minute to put in Marley Twists, and I desperately needed my hair done, especially since I'm 9months pregnant and my baby can come any day now. Called 3 other shops I've been to before but they couldn't take me because they were booked for the day. Saw Headline advertised throughout Columbia. I called and I was able to come in right away to get my Marley twists! They washed, conditioned, and blow dried my hair beforehand and I got a 15% discount for being a new customer. I was pleased with their customer service. Ami was great. I'll be back!

I started going to Headline about a year ago. Prior to that, I had bounced around a few different salons because I was consistently unhappy with services. Headline is the only place that got me to return on a consistent basis, specifically because of the stylist I see named Shyla. She is awesome! I am always pleased with her work, and I've done retouches on my relaxer, cut, wrap/set, style. It is convenient to schedule appointments, but walk-ins are welcome. I would suggest scheduling because it can get busy in there. I can't speak for the other stylists but Shyla is always professional

This was by far one of the worst hair salons I've been to in Maryland. I've been on the search for a salon that knows how to properly care for thick, curly, ethnic hair & this place had me running home so that I could wash my hair. For starters the stylists and front desk clerk are rude and unapproachable. Secondly, the blowout process was extremely painful. I was flinching in my chair from how roughly they were just pulling at my fine hair. Not to mention pressing the hot blow dryer against my head. I found this place on yelp, reviewed the pictures and reviews so I decided to give it a try. (I was looking for a new stylist to add length, and color and smooth my hair). After a very long appointment- which is expected for the services I was requesting, I have to say I LOVED my stylist Natalie. My hair looked beautiful and I couldn't believe all the compliments I received in the last two week. I obviously decided to come back because she did such a lovely job. I would suggest that when you make your appointment you check out their website for details regarding hair stylists. Also when making appointment I would highly recommend discussing your hair texture. Everyone here is very nice and they sell and use Moroccan Oil products Yay. In addition, I think they also do some fun events. I know they did mother/grandmother/daughter makeovers for Mother's day.

I partially agree with the previous poster, except I think we had different stylists. My first experience wasn't all that great. They called me the day before my appointment to confirm (fine). The next day they called me 2 hours before my appointment to see if I can come in a little early because they were having an "event" (irritating since I was at work, working). Long story short, when I showed up, my stylist bailed on me because of the said event (irritating). I started going to this salon out of the recommendation of a close family friend. I am so glad I did. Previous to going to this salon, I didn't know what it was like to go to a hair salon and have to wait 3-4 hours for my appointment with my double/triple booked stylist, kids running around laying all over the floor and terrible customer service. But this salon is the DIRECT OPPOSITE of a typical city hair salon. All the stylists are friendly, they honor the appointments not to mention that the salon is plush, without being gaudy.
