The first step to treating a problem is understanding it. Assessments are the way that we do just that. An assessment is a tool used to evaluate the issues an individual is experiencing, potentially leading to a diagnosis, recommendations for improvement, or to inform treatment.

Sometimes it is hard to know where to start. We offer consultations with any of our available clinicians, which can help tease out the best course of action. Consultations can be helpful at key junctions in an individual's life, for help with goal setting, problem-solving, system navigation and/or decision making.
Once a presenting issue is understood, treatment helps individuals make the necessary changes to improve their life. Treatment will look different based on each individual's needs and goals. Different types of treatment are required for different presenting issues. Below is a list of some of the different categories of treatment that we provide.
Sleep has a major impact on health, recovery, and rehabilitation. Using evidence-based techniques drawn from CBTi, psychoeducational, and behavioural approaches, Brainworks developed our Sleep Tight (C) program to help improve sleep routines. This program is for those who are having sleep difficulties related to chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, or depressive symptoms related to an accident or injury.

Fantastic organization. I worked at Brainworks for approximately 4 years and learned so much from Arden McGregor and my other supervisors during my time there. Both management and admin staff were pros at helping their clinicians and clients navigate the complexities of insurance funded treatment. The social workers and rehab therapists that I collaborated with were highly professional and wonderful clinically with their clients. Highly recommend!
