The funeral home was established in 1978 by a local family. In 1994, a group of people led by Mrs. Huguette Gnier became owners of the funeral home and brought the designation of Les Maisons Funraires Gnier Gauthier Funeral Homes Inc. In 2009 we became owners of Irvine & Irvine funeral homes. We arrived in the area with the ambition to fulfill our cherished dream of operating our own funeral home.
As soon as we arrived, we devoted all our energy and passion towards this dream and we were privileged to be so warmly welcomed into the community. In the following years, we experienced much love and fulfillment. We gave birth to two handsome boys, Bryan and Eliam, and day by day we successfully built our small local business according to our vision.

Services
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
If you request immediate assistance, yes. If the family wishes to spend a short time with the deceased to say good-bye, that's perfectly acceptable. Your funeral director will come when your time is right. Burial in a casket is the most common method of disposing of remains in the United States, although entombment also occurs.
Funerals fill an important role for those mourning the loss of a loved one. By providing surviving family and friends with an atmosphere of care and support in which to share thoughts and feelings about death, funerals are the first step in the healing process. It is the traditional way to recognize the finality of death.
