In 1989, The Pizza Den & Video Movie Store opened its doors in Stonewall. The store rented VHS movies and offered pizza for take-out. The reputation of the pizza pushed the original owner to create a full service restaurant that became one of the go-to places in town for lunch or dinner.
The original owners were so impressed with the quality of the pizza that they bought The Pizza Den in 2010 and continue to grow the business, adding a lounge in 2014.The family takes pride in connecting and contributing to the vibrant Stonewall community. Many generations of local residents and students over the last 25 years have worked in The Pizza Den family, some saving for a 1st car or for a school tuition.

I’m very impressed with the pizza!
Just moved to stonewall from Winnipeg. The pizza den was recommended by several people after we had a horrible experience at the local pizza hotline. The wife and I ordered a large pizza to share. Honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life, every bite was pizza bliss! And we still have half for leftovers. I can’t think of another pizza place I’m more pleased with. Well done Pizza Den!

First of all the service was terrible one of the girls was not nice to us in fact she was rude we got forks that were dirty. We ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad the pizza was soggy it tasted so bland the Caesar salad was not good ether the lettuce was bitter and rotten I hope no one spends money at this place and it is way to pricy I would just recommend people to stay away from it

We've eaten here at least 50 times and most experiences have been very good. The borscht is awesome as are the onion rings and usually the pickerel is my go to favourite.
Tonight my son's cheeseburger was way overcooked to the point I had to take it out of the bun and cut off the hard edges so he could even eat it. Half of the burger was not only inedible, but almost impossible to cut (although with the butter knife as we didn't have anything sharper) I mentioned the burger issue and that my pickerel was also overcooked to the young girls on staff and nothing was done about it.

Let's start with the positive. The service was excellent. Our young waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. However, what was the quality of the food like, you ask. Wellllll, not so good.
I ordered the roast beef on a baguette special ($12.99 all in). It came with your choice of potato and soup or salad. I chose mashed potatoes and borscht soup. The soup came in a large bowl with sour cream on the side. The borscht had pork added. The soup was good, but the pork truly did not add anything to its flavour.
Now for the main course. The broccoli vegetable, rather than sweet and crispy
