Mel and Ethelann Stewart discovered the incredible Shocker hitches in 2007. After trying them out, the Stewarts were absolutely amazed at the difference the hitches made in the ride of the vehicle and how the trailers rode more smoothly while being towed. The Shocker Hitch is a heavy duty unit that in most cases exceeds factory receiver hitch weight capacities, therefore it is imperative that you always read and follow the tongue and towing weight recommendations of the receiver hitch that is mounted on your tow vehicle. Hook up trailer using properly selected ball adaptor and height adjustment in order to have a level trailer when loaded.
The Shocker Hitch is a heavy duty unit, however it is imperative that any weight capacity ratings are not exceeded on the ball that is mounted on your tow vehicle, or the Shocker Hitch. Use only a 2 5/16 dia. Ball. V-19 rated. Do not exceed G.V.W.R. of ball being used. Take a vertical measurement from bottom of ball coupler tube to bottom of trailer frame sleeve.

I haven't received my hitch yet because I just ordered it, but I'd like to make it very clear that up to this point Bob and the rest of his staff have gone out of their way to make sure I have been well informed and both times I've called their company its been after hours and he has answered the phone even though they were already closed. I'm confident that their product will be everything it has been advertised to be just based upon the level of customer service that I've already been given.

Order my gooseneck hitch and ended up in the area and was able to slide by and pick it up. The owner was gung-ho to come out and help me install it right in their lot!! And gave me a bunch of pointers as well! And hours after I left he called me to check and see how it was doing!!! Don’t see customer service like this anymore. Guys that work there are a class act for sure and I recommend this company to anyone that on the fence because they work very very well and make a big difference for sure!!

I bought my first Shocker hitch on Black Friday 2019. Used hard all this year towing an enclosed trailer all over town on out not so smooth roads. Really smooths out the bouncing and jerking of the trailer. Hitch is built like a tank, too. I will not go back to towing with a rigid hitch, the Shocker is such an upgrade.
