The Britton Funeral Home Ltd. is a family owned business founded in 1932 by Lorne Britton. We are located in Hartland, New Brunswick's smallest incorporated town, situated on the banks of the beautiful Saint John River and home of the famous Longest Covered Bridge in the world. After Lorne's death in 1965 the business continued to be operated by his wife Hazel along with the help of longtime employee, Bill Clark.
In the mid seventies the funeral home was sold to the McMullin's in Woodstock, but in 1979 was purchased back by Lorne's son, Wayne. In 1989 Wayne sold the business to Richard Reid and continued working at the funeral home until 1995. In 1991 Wayne Page joined the staff of the funeral home and in 1995 he and his wife, Beverly, purchased the business.
