The Lawrence Healthcare Authority Board works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Clinical Officer to provide vision and direction for Lawrence Medical Center.
Lawrence Medical Center is the ideal blend of tradition and technology, old-fashioned and brand-new. You'll find the knowledge of staff to be exceptional and up-to-date, while their caring and compassionate attitudes are a welcome trip down memory lane. LMC has state-of-the-art equipment with high-tech advances like digital delivery and auto-results technology for quicker, more accurate results.
Lawrence Medical Center recently announced an affiliation with the Huntsville Hospital Systems, and we've had many people ask "What does that mean for our hospital?" You may see additional friendly faces around to serve you: we now have access to many HH employees, including oncologists who have already been to LMC to serve some of their patients here, instead of having them travel all the way to Huntsville.
At Lawrence Medical Center, we have a team of healthcare providers and support staff that are committed to serving the people of Moulton, Lawrence County, and the surrounding area. We take this responsibility seriously, and commit to providing you with excellent and friendly care.

In today's healthcare environment, and particularly in the State of Alabama, many hospitals, especially smaller community hospitals like ours, are finding it more difficult to maintain their services. In fact, a number of hospitals in Alabama have closed in recent years. We know how important a hospital can be to a community, and we encourage you to support your local hospital.

What a refreshing experience from the registration process to the treatment! I was in and out of the Lawrence Medical Center ED in just over an hour tonight. My nurse and Dr. Lumpkins are both five-star professionals.

Well this is just from my personal experiences with the Emergency Room and staff working the ER. Sometimes you get a amazing nurse and/or and amazing doctor. On occasion though you get a rude Nurse and/or doctor so it depends.

No stars! This place is absolutely the definition of malpractice. I was in a wreck and trusted these people for my care. I was told they did not believe me and was not cared for when I had a concussion and many sprains and contusions. When I left after being talked down to they later sent a bill saying I had to pay for X-rays never received and for care never given. I was their hospital scholarship winner in 2014 and I was profiled by their own ER doctor. What a joke. When I disputed these charges and explained it all to Shannon Hagood I was later sent a letter explaining that my efforts to dispute

Some of the nurses are nice, but there’s this same one every time that has an attitude and acts like she’s better than everyone. I’m sorry but honey you ain’t above me🤣🤪

Nurses were the most unprofessional, cursing and talking about other patients in the room while cleaning, playing “drum solos” on the door with their hands. Seems a little unreal honestly. 1.7 stars for reviews speaks for itself.

I took my daughter in last Friday. It was determined she had the flu or at least I'm sure that's what they billed to my insurance. I went back the following Thursday for a note for school and was treated with tremendous disrespect. My daughter had a fever of 103 that Friday and following Saturday. It was all I could do to get her well. I sent her back to school Monday but she relapsed and was sick again. So after watching my sick child while I did my coding job. I was treated disrespectfully by Jessica Sharp CRNP. Who claimed in order to give my child a note i should've brought her back in to be

The nurses here seem to be more qualified than the actual doctors themselves. At least they are: kind, sincere, helpful, will listen, and seem to be interested in your health and well being. ALL emergencies are important no matter how big or how small. The doctors here do NOT care about any problems you may have as long as they don't have to waste their time with you. As seen on multiple occasions by multiple people. If you're in a car wreck, need to give birth, or if you fell into extremely hot grease, just walk it off. You'll get about the same results as going to this establishment. Maybe even

Every time I have went to this ER, it has been a bad experience in which the doctors would not listen to what I had to say. Most of the nurses were spectacular. Dr. Edwards, however, is incredibly thorough, funny and genuinely seems to care for his patients!
