Dr. Lewis and Dr. Allen are Family Physicians with a special interest in skin health. In addition to at tending to a busy Family Practice, they provide non-surgical treatments including Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm facial fillers, Environ peels, Iontophoresis, medical needling, cosmetic excisions and hyperhidrosis treatments.
The healthy way to peel, no redness, no burning, no downtime! Old fashioned acid peels can strip away vital layers of the epidermis. The Cool Peel works in synergy with your skin by using a lower concentration of lactic acid over a series of light, repetitive treatments. The result is a gentler, more effective way to hydrate, repair, refine and reveal youthful, radiant skin with no downtime.
In the world of earthy purifying wonders, charcoal is right up there with clay and mud. It's been called the holy-grail ingredient and has been purging impurities since ancient times, thanks to its ability to attach to and absorb toxins. In the past few years, charcoal has exploded in the world of skincare.
Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a 10 gauge scalpel to gently scrape of the top layer of dulling dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. A soothing alginate mask will be applied post dermaplaning, along with other revitalizing vitamin serums.
Environ's Iontophoresis is the transport of electrically charged chemicals called ions through the skin. An electrical current is then passed through the skin which facilitates greater penetration of vitamins into the skin (Vitamin infusion). Ions that have been transported are absorbed into the living cells, stored and eventually produce changes.
