Helmut's always keeps our future in mind and only uses what is needed to reduce our impact on the environment for future generations. Ammonia cooling/freezer (together with more effective insulation material) enabling us to achieve cooling/freezing with 50% less energy. State of the art "closed system" smokehouse, reducing exhaust smoke by 99%, thus reducing our natural gas usage by 35% with no need to "burn off "exhaust smoke.

I went today the very first time and I regret that I haven’t been there before! Awesome great collection of Swiss and German delicacies, spotted some Italian gems as well! Even found Aromat and it made my day!!! I was impressed. Everything I purchased I had to try as soon as I was home and it was tasty, great quality and reminds me off home! Thank you guys! As i know by the man who served me you’re German and Swiss based and I must say (I’m Swiss) I found a second home here in Kelowna thank you guys!! Keep up the great work and heute ist nicht alle Tage, ich komme wieder keine Frage

For FRESH amazing, flavourful meat and so much MORE you must shop @ Helmut's Sausage Kitchen! My husband & I shop here every week. We LOVE the variety of meat and grocery items! The CRAB salad is off the charts delish! (Gluten FREE) We highly recommend this great shop. Made in the OKANAGAN you can feel good about shopping local at Helmut's YUM!
