The Kensington-Chinatown Local Immigration Partnership Network held two very successful online town halls this month. One on Federal Income Benefits for Working People and Seniors and the other on Affordable Housing and Long-Term Care as a Matter of Health. Each town hall had more than 120 unique participants and was conducted with multilingual simultaneous interpretation.
Thanks to the financial support of the Canadian Red Cross and Government of Canada, as well as Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO), for all their work with legal clinics around the province to develop a valuable template and indispensable connection to "Steps to Justice".
