Each of our cabin rentals are nestled in the woods with an exquisite view of Eddontenajon Lake. The Red Goat Lodge Campground offers a great place to access the water during your stay with us.
For the less avid hiker there is a day hike not far from the lodge. Todagin Mountains trailhead is approximately 13 km south of the lodge along the Cassiar highway. The hike is generally 3 hrs one way. Upon arriving at tree line you are welcomed by a meadow of wild flowers. The spectacular scenic view consists of the Iskut valley's chain of lakes.

Proprietor thinks it's helpful for tired travelers to be argued with and ridiculed for wearing masks. Shower stank to high heaven cause the trap was dry and there was so little water (cold only) coming from the showerhead that it took 5 minutes to fill the trap. Horrific!!! Google Review needs a NO STAR rating for this dive.

We stayed in room 6 which was at the far end of the motel and had 2 comfortable queen beds and had spectacular views of Loons Peak. We spent 2 nights here and found the staff to be friendly and the property to have incredible views. They so rented us a kayak for a nominal amount which was great to take out into the middle of the lake. Just make sure to bring what you need with you as there's nothing around for food.

Our time here and stay was nice. Unfortunately the customer service from the proprietor was very poor. In order to seek reimbursement for our travel expenses here on a work trip he would only provide a credit card receipt, and refused to, in his words write a book to provide any further documentation that would allow for us to be reimbursed from this say. If you plan to stay here for reimbursable travel I advise against it. He will not be helpful.

Super friendly people there who gave us everything we needed for a stay. Made us feel right at home in a place that is so remote!
Some warnings were given before coming; so while our expectations were set low, we were blown away by quality of the lodge and hospitality of the people.
Definitely a great place to stay for those traveling to / from Yukon.

I was really looking forward to visiting red goat lodge with my family. It's always been a goal to drive the beautiful Stewart cassiar highway. Unfortunately due to car trouble, we couldn't make it and even though I called Amy to cancel after the 24hr period had passed, she graciously allowed me to do so without incurring any penalty. I know it was a hard decision for her given the tough economic times. So I appreciate that and I hope this review will convince some of you to go visit red goat lodge and give this girl some well deserved business! And if I ever get a chance to drive hwy37, I'll be

Best place to stay along 37. I stayed in the row units, but there are also individual cabins. Beautiful lakeshore setting, and the price is right (very reasonable).

We stayed here for one night. The room was clean and cute and warm. The owner Mitch was hilarious! Really nice guy treated us like old friends. I love his dog goofy too he's soo sweet! If I ever pass through here again I will definitely stop again and say hello! I wish we could have hung out longer but we had a lot of driving ahead of us.
