The Kootenay Cottage is one of the few accommodations in the area that is air conditioned and pet friendly! I LOVE dogs! The cottage is just steps away from Mill Creek trail-head and the West Arm Provincial Park. The shore of the Kootenay Lake is a short 5 minute walk. Enjoy kayaking, SUP, canoeing, fishing or a dip in the lake.

The cottage is close to amenities including biking, fishing, golf, the Kootenay Lake Ferry, restaurants, pubs and Ainsworth Hot Springs. Kokanee Provincial Park and Kokanee Glacier.

My wife and I spent a week here in early August.
It was exactly what the doctor ordered. We really enjoyed the chill out time in nature, there was deer and hummingbirds around the cottage and ospreys and bald eagles nesting by the ferry (2 mins ago).
Natalie was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area.
We will definitely be back.
